The KAB 554B runs heavy duty air suspension with a 125mm stroke, manually adjusted to suit the driver's weight and road conditions. It absorbs road shock continuously across a shift, so vibration and fatigue stop compounding before the end of a long run.

The 3-point seatbelt is built into the seat structure, not mounted to the cab. That means belt geometry moves with the seat through every adjustment, keeping the driver properly restrained regardless of how the seat is positioned.

Lumbar support is pneumatically controlled, letting the driver dial in lower back pressure to their preference without stopping. On long runs where posture shifts as fatigue sets in, adjustable lumbar support keeps the lower back supported through the whole shift.

60mm of individual height and tilt adjustment lets each driver set their sightline and seating angle independently. A driver who has set this seat up correctly sits in the same position every time they get in, with no compromise between comfort and line of sight.

180mm of fore and aft travel gives drivers of different builds the full reach to the pedals and steering they need. The fore and aft isolator absorbs longitudinal shock separately from the main suspension, so braking and acceleration forces don't transfer directly to the driver.

Auto weight adjustment covers the full 80 to 150kg driver range without manual intervention. The suspension calibrates to the occupant automatically, so the seat performs consistently whether it's a lighter driver on a short shift or a heavier operator doing a full day.
