From engineering designs, raw steel enters one end of our modern facility, is processed through our manufacturing plant using ‘state of the art’ technology and an experienced, trade qualified team.  This moves through to our paint and assembly team and your product is made ready for shipping, where our logistics team can get this anywhere in the world, no matter the size.

From one unit to many, TRT have the manufacturing capability and plant facilities to offer a range of services at all stages of the manufacturing process, from total product manufacture to contract manufacture solutions.

Plant and Machinery

With over 33,000 square metres onsite at the main manufacturing facility in Hamilton and a further 5000 square metres at TRT Australia’s Brisbane facility, our operation is set up to deliver one-off customised trailers to large-scale defence projects.

TRT is continually improving production technology, that continues to provide cost-effective solutions for our customers for the long haul. It is our priority.

Logisitics

We can get anything, anywhere!

 

TRT Logistics capability Our logistical capability is exceptional, from small packages to large gantry cranes to South America, 150 tipper bodies to Australian Defence Forces or a 100t crane to mines in Papua New Guinea, we can get your product from A to B with care, on time and with minimal risk. We have an in-house team with decades of experience to help make this process simple.

Key activities include:

  • Sourcing of parts and components from around the world
  • Trans-Tasman shipping 
  • In-house logistical management and worldwide shipping

 

Contract Manufacturing

TRT has a full range of specialist capability to fully manufacture or manufacture sub-assembly components. 

TRTs Robotic Welder Other trailer manufacturers choose to use TRT to manufacture some or all of their product.  They use the capability TRT delivers with advanced quality manufacturing, ability to meet schedules and superior quality output.

We offer a full contract manufacturing service, from design to fabrication and assembly.
