GPS Speed up (Released August 2009).
Released in August 2009, GPS Speed Up was a significant advance for CTI putting TractionAir at the cutting edge of CTI pneumatic control. In principal we use a GPS receiver to measure the ground speed and match this to stepped pressure intervals designed specifically for that vehicles job. As the vehicle increases speed the system pumps itself up. This system provides peace of mind for the fleet owner knowing that the driver can no longer drive down the road with the tyre pressure at too lower setting for the speed of the vehicle. The system is fully programmable and can be set for your fleets specific requirements

We chose this method of speed monitoring to maintain our independence; the system does not have to be wired into the vehicles speedo or wiring system. GPS provides constant, accurate real time vehicle speed. TractionAir GPS Speed Up will not affect the warranty of the vehicle. Aside from a small one off cost at the point of purchase for the GPS receiver, TractionAir GPS has no on-going cost.
