From its beginnings in 1967, TRT has accumulated a wide range of engineering skills and expertise within the Road Transport Industry. TRT is a privately owned family business that has built its reputation on innovation, engineering design expertise, and exceeding customer demands.

TRT has over 150 staff working within four integrated businesses: Manufacturing Engineering, Truck and Trailer Parts, Mechanical Service and Repair, and Crane. Operating from purpose built facilities of over 6000 square meters in Hamilton, and operates throughout the Waikato Auckland and upper North Island.

Service and Repair

Full range of mechanical service for: Iveco, Isuzu, Scania, Sterling, Mercedes BenzMercedes-Benz, Freightliner, Sterling, and Fuso, and Scania, along with BPW, Hendrickson, Eaton, Meritor, and Spicer.

Manufacturing Engineering

Design and build of new Trailers and specialised equipment including: Floats & Low Loaders, Extra Heavy Duty Rows of Eight Transporters, House Removal Trailers and Side Loader Container Trailers.

Crane

Sales, Parts, and full service support for the Manitowoc Crane Group including: Grove and GMK Mobile Cranes, Potain Tower Cranes, Manitowoc Crawler Cranes.
