From its beginnings in 1967, TRT has accumulated a wide range of engineering skills and expertise within the Road Transport Industry. A privately owned family business, TRT has built its reputation on innovation, engineering design expertise, and exceeding customer demands.

Certified under ISO 9001:2008, TRT has over 160 staff working within four integrated businesses: Manufacturing Engineering, Truck and Trailer Parts, Mechanical Service and Repair, along with Crane. With purpose built facilities of over 7,500 square metres in Hamilton, and a branch in Auckland, TRT operates throughout the Waikato, Auckland and Upper North Island.



	As the leading manufacturer of specialist Transport Equipment and Trailers, TRT’s very experienced engineers fabricate trailers at our purpose built Hamilton facilities designed to meet a demanding range of customer needs under ISO:9001 quality standards.



	Based in Hamilton, TRT stocks the region’s largest range of Truck and Trailer Parts. An Auckland branch and a team of very experienced mobile sales representatives operate throughout New Zealand’s central and upper North Island.



	Part of Manitowoc Crane CARE, TRT is the New Zealand distributor for Manitowoc Crane Group’s complete product range: Manitowoc-lattice-boom crawler cranes, Potain tower cranes, Grove mobile hydraulic cranes and National Crane articulating and telescoping cranes.



	Offering the complete range of mechanical service from lubes, brake diagnostics, engine and drive train rebuilds, chassis repair to fully customised fleet maintenance programmes. TRT operates from Hamilton with state of the art mechanical and hydraulic service capabilities.
